Sherpa's Top 10: Best 'Friends' movies
Some weeks are -- in the technical jargon used in the Top 10 movie list-making world -- slim pickings.
Looking at this week's opening movies, there is no way to get a 10-movie list about Colin Farrell or Anne Hathaway. With the new Conan film coming out, I realized I've already done best comics-to-film movies and even the best Arnold Schwarzenegger flicks. What to do?
God bless Matthew Perry (!), who was nice enough to be born on this exact date 42 years ago. Now some months ago, a reader suggested I do a list about the best films starring former cast members of "Friends." That didn't seem like a great idea at the time, but now it sounds like pure genius.
I'm going with the main six characters: Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer. I'm not including supporting actors like Elliot Gould, Tom Selleck or even Giovanni Ribisi. Just the Big Six. As usual, I don't include TV shows, so that leaves out Schwimmer's role in the stellar miniseries "Band of Brothers."
Here is the breakdown:
Aniston and Kudrow each have three films on the list and two honorable mentions -- Aniston with "He's Just Not That Into You" and "Bruce Almighty"; and Kudrow with "Happy Endings" and "Wonderland." Cox has two films on the list, while Perry and Schwimmer each have one. Is anyone shocked LeBlanc has zero mentions? (I didn't think so.)
10. Rock Star (2001): A so-so movie, with Mark Wahlberg playing the worshipper of a rock band who select him as a replacement singer. Jennifer Aniston, sheds the glamour image to play a once-popular cheerleader type who marries her high-school sweetheart (John C. Reilly), then finds out grown-up life is dull and has an affair with a younger man (Jake Gyllenhall).
6. Apt Pupil (1999): Starring Ian McKellen as an old Nazi war criminal whose secret is uncovered by a teen (Brad Renfro) in the neighborhood looking for a school paper subject.

The Bollywood film industry has experienced a year reactons divided on their films. After one month success of the first when all the films released in January were reported as hit and there were many flops that followed. Well in this course, all developers of these films have to ensure that the film comedy should always be on top. So this year there was a comedy published extensively. Some of them did well and some were flops, and some were the surprise success. So here, I collected information from these ten films that are so far the funniest comedy films released this year.This list includes the ten hilarious movies that have won the heart of the audience and were also a commercial success. 10. Chalo Dilli:Chalo Dill is a comedy starring Lara Dutta Road and Vinay Pathak in the lead roles. This film is about the journey of two people traveling together from Mumbai to Delhi and found the colors of India, including many funny sequences. Akshay Kumar made a special appearance in this film. This film is also among the best comedy movies of 2011.
9. FALTU:Vinay Pathak returns in the second part of the series Bheja Fry and this time he teamed up with Kay Kay Menon in a hilarious comedy Bheja Fry 2 roll. The film also stars Suresh Menon and Minish Lambha and was one of the funniest movies of 2011. This critically acclaimed film and Vinay Pathak great was praised for his sense of humor.
7. Tanu Weds Manu:Doulble Dhamaal is the sequel to the 2007 hit film Dhamaal.Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Ashish Chaudhary and Jaaved Jaaferi resumed their roles from the first film with the addition of new Malika Sherawat, Kangna Ranaut and Satish Kaushik. The film became the biggest hit comedy, and as expected the film was well received by critics and the public.
2. Yamla Pagla Deewana:Can you imagine? The three plots of action delivered one of the best comedy movies of the year and they are none other than the three Deols. Yes I speak Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The family reunites for the second time and produced one of the hilarious movies Yamla Pagla Deewana. This film was a huge success both critically and commercially.
1. Ready:After Dabangg and Wanted, Salman Khan once again delivered his very best and gave one of the biggest hit of the year. Ready is a one crazy comedy film with Salman Khan and Asin as the main lead and Mahesh Manjrekar, Paresh Rawal and Sharat Saxena in the supporting roles. This film was a huge success in the box office and critics also praised the comic timing of Salman Khan and other cast of the film.
Seriously, Just Go With It is on my top 5 funniest movies! I was dying the whole time! Even ten minutes after hah!!
