A car we last sold in 2006 and making a welcome return to the flock. Now we can't choose our customers. Some are, if we are being brutally honest, better than others when it come to looking after their Porsche and occasionally you have to give them a little rap on the knuckles when it comes time to buy the car back in. The odd kerbed wheel, a car park scratch here and there and a few jobs left over from the last service which "we never got round to fixing". Others, like this chap are custodial angels. The service history on this car looks like a first draft from war and peace and the list of jobs undertaken since 2006 when he acquired the car is comprehensive. Factory M033 springs and dampers fitted, (Porsche were doing a cracking deal on the parts so it was rude not to! Air conditioning condenser and drier replaced, lower cam covers, wiring loom recall (later done properly by his local specialist), front wishbones, steering arms, full geometry, HID headlamp kit fitted, bluetooth telephone kit fitted and all this on top of the usual servicing, tyres and so on. A true enthusiast. The full spec lists as Climate controlled air conditioning, soft ruffled leather seats, 8 way electric seats, tiptronic S gearbox with steering wheel gearshift, central locking, electric windows and mirrors, driver and passenger airbags, face off stereo with ipod connection lead, rear wipe, rear wiper, bluetooth hands free telephone kit, uprated HID headlamps, ABS brakes, power steering, 3 point rear seatbelts, original 17 inch split rim alloy wheels unique to the targa. Thatcham cat 2 main dealer fitted immobiliser. Service history from new with either the main dealers or a recognised marque specialist which includes a file of bills and old Mots. Included with the car is also the original leather wallet, handbooks and duplicate keys. We even have the red "learning" blip used to re-programme replacement alarm / central locking remotes. Current Mot until June 2012. Drives extremely well, air conditioning appears to function currently as does the tilt and slide targa roof and internal electric sun blind. To many people the best of both worlds between a coupe and a convertible the targa was extremely warmly received at it's launch with early examples even commanding a premium over list price. The observant amongst you will have noticed a single price for the car and that's because we are selling it on as a running project.

I genuinely believe that the core members go above and beyond whats expected to do what they are doing for IV - its truly remarkable...they all have busy lives and it takes great conviction and dedication to take the time out and do this...but why are the people still not responding despite the obvious pitfalls of not acting on GC related initiatives....... As I said in the preface of the list, the bigger objective here is to take certain steps, including proper documentation (e.g. points 2, 3, 4 and 5), in order to maintain PR status. Besides, you never know what documents you would be asked to produce, given that the citizenship process involves more extensive background checks than the GC process. Also, having a log of exit/entry details (point #5) should help quickly fill out Part 7 of the citizenship form (http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/N-400.pdf). Some of you have been concerned about my post regarding the rejection of some applications received on July 2nd. I've been checking and it seems to be true that some cases were sent back that day. Apparently, the number of cases sent back is small, however, so that is good news. And you should have received the case back by now if you're in that group. For everyone else, the way you will likely find that your case is being processed will be if the check is cashed. I would give this a few days and keep checking with the bank to see if the payment has cleared and this will be a lot faster in all likelihood than waiting on a receipt. Obviously, check with your lawyer on this. some sort of recapture is better than none !!! we should try to have some relief for EB but let us not stand in the way of FB ..the reason is simple, unused FB visas overflow in to EB (if I am not mistaken) ...In fact that is one of the reason that EB2 India did not move much this year since they are more efficient with FB visa this year (see the pace at which it is moving this year as opposed to last year) so better to wait and watch. If you are one of those members that were once part of IV and either got banned or left because you felt we are working against your interests, then you were never part of this community and effort. This is a genuine effort and a lot of people's careers and personal lives are affected due to the greencard problem and we are genuinely trying to fix it.
