Since your first name has three names, and I am guessing out of those two one would be your town and other you father name or something like that, it would be hlepful for you to convert them to single letter and just keep your given name as full name. Most of the systems in US cannon handle three first names and you will face this trouble again and again even if you get it figured out in the visa. When USCIS says it will clear the backlog by 2010, it means applications filed after that time will be processed in a timely manner (in less than 6 months). It does not mean that all the 485s before that time wil be approved. The only people who should be in a preferred category are the scientists who are actually working as research scientists for a govt or non-profit organization (not just anyone who bought a PhD from Dhanabad University for Rs 15000). One of ways in which you can make the lawmakers realize the seriousness of the issue of EB relief is by telling them about it in person. They meet tons of other people every day and hear about many issues that are just as important to the others who meet them. So to convince them of the urgency, IMHO, we all must go to their offices and talk to them. That requires you to take some time off from your schedule. Many of us have already met lawmakers. Join your local chapter. It took me more than a month to find out the reason behind the withdrawal.
