'Love in the Wild' eliminates Kym Nguyen and Adam Rose

"I'm really upset at the fact that [ Steele Dewald ] decided to say yes to [ Erica Scherle ]. You've got that one guy that you think maybe there's a glimmer of hope, and then you get looked over. Adam and I -- we were so great as a team, but had no connection -- whereas Steele and I struggled as a team but had a connection. I'm sad, definitely," Kym, a 24-year-old hairstylist from Quincy, MA, said after her elimination. "Unfortunately, Kym was the closest to feeling anything for someone here. I truly did try to find love here out in the wild. I thought I may have had something brewing, but the feeling wasn't mutual. I just didn't find that one person. I'm going to take it as it is. I'm going to go home and continue to try to find someone," Adam, a 25-year-old bouncer from Taunton, MA, said following his ouster. The pairs were required to walk along a path where they would find a map and canoe to then take off to a location called Snake Island. The couples must dock their boat on the island, find a totem pole holding their list of instructions, and then navigate themselves through the jungle via compass in search of a plane wreck. Lastly, they had to grab a crate and get it back to the finish line near where they started. The course proved itself to be grueling, as many of the strong relationships built between a few of the couples were tested along the way. Mike and Samantha, who had remained a happy couple since the very beginning of the competition, bickered and grew frustrated with each other. However, all the couples appeared to manage to finish the tasks and complete the challenge within moments of each other.

While shooting in the Scottsdale area on an architectural project, we had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with one of our fall Durango wedding couples.  Sarah and Nathan and their beautiful little daughter met us at 5:00AM on a quiet Sunday morning at the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza. Early and only 85°, we had a wonderful time hanging out together at an amazingly fun location with loads to “play” on.  We are not sure that having our couple climbing on Robert Indiana’s “Love” sculpture was totally legal…but it was one of the advantages of being out there as the sun was coming up and having the place to ourselves!  It was great to see you both in your own neighborhood and thanks for “playing” with us!  We look forward to all being together and capturing more great images on your wedding day!
