5 at 10: Draft love, Braves' roll, college football's good guys

NBA DRAFT OPTIONS:

The 5-at-10 loves the draft. You know this.

It appears that there could be a bunch of trades tonight at the NBA draft, which would improve the action of tonight's festivities, which is short on star-power and long on buzz words like "length" and "potential" and "athleticism."

After Duke point guard Kyrie Irving and Arizona stud forward Derrick Williams, it's anyone's guess who will pick whom. That's a cool part of the draft -- we love the draft, by the way -- except when you don't know any of the other players for the most part and a lot their highlights (read: for the foreign players) look like they were shot in pick-up games at the North River Y.

Anyhoo, that's why we have embraced "The Chas9 Feeling the Draft Free-for-All." The object is to pick which conference/group (SEC, ACC, Pac10, Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, All other colleges, All other countries) will have the most first-round picks. The first tie-breaker is the best suit of all the first-round picks (as determined by the 5-at-10). The second tie-breaker is the worst suit of all the first-round picks (as determined by the 5-at-10). We'll update with more entries later today -- and as always we're trying to get some of the area sports personalities to play along, too.

Ray J Clarifies Views On Nicki Minaj & Lil' Kim | Entertainment ...

In an interview with Power 105.1 FM’s new morning show, “The Breakfast Club,” Ray J clarified past comments he made in reference to the beef between Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj .

Ray J took the stage earlier this year with Kimberly and not so subliminally called out Nicki for being an alleged copycat.

But while speaking to Charlamagne The God , Ray denied starting the beef and then leaving Kim stranded.

He said:

“I’m reaching out to the whole world….to the whole hip hop community because that’s just how I felt at the time. Never once did I mention anybody. That’s what you do in hip hop, you throw it out there, you have a little friendly competition…it is what it is.”
